Modern RTLS is moving beyond simple asset tracking. By integrating AI, hospitals can now predict equipment shortages before they happen and identify safety risks in real time. The shift from reactive to predictive is here. #AI #Healthcare iotforall.com/rtls-2026-what…

I’m a bit concerned that a landing accident was no biggie during f9 reuse devolopement, which is not the case with rtls for starship.

I remember exactly where I was watching that first RTLS. Whole room went silent then absolutely erupted. Unforgettable.

I see a lot of people sharing stories so I think I might as well. The first SpaceX launch I watched live was Jason 3 on January 17 2016. The fifth landing attempt and the first one following the first successful RTLS a month before. We didn't get this video until the day after launch. This was the point where I really got interested into spaceflight as a whole. I have highly mixed feelings about the state of the company just over ten years later as they have gone public today but it's been one hell of a ride, that's for sure.

Me, slightly earlier. 9/7/17, OTV-5, watched in my front yard in central FL. I am privledged to have been able to see Shuttle launches many times as a kid, after it stopped flying I lost interest until I learned of Falcon 9 RTLS and then actually began following at OTV-5.

We’ve been hearing this too often: “Material was missing, and the line was about to stop.” It shows how quickly JIT breaks down when the digital plan and physical shop floor are not in sync. Our latest blog explains how RTLS helps close that gap.

This is what our performance specialists do 🧠 Tighter subtimings = faster raw input = your click lands before theirs. 4800mhz flat 14, RTLs/IOLs next.
New stuff to play around. CPU only does 5.2ghz sadly, but IMC doesn’t seem to bad with 4750 14-14-14 running Gb3 on warm ambient. 4800 14-14-14 boots. In the process of getting ln2, we’ll see in the next few weeks. Doing around 9100-9200 GB3 Memory

SpaceX will likely have built 10-20 more Starships and boosters by the time Artemis III launches. What you’re saying is it takes NASA all this time to build 1 rocket when SpaceX will 10x that with a fully reusable rocket that costs 40x less to launch. Orion and SLS are ~4 billion a launch. Starship and Superheavy are ~100 million a launch. Oh, and SpaceX will get that V3 booster back with an RTLS while SLS will be dumped into the ocean. The only reusable part is Orion, which will have to go under major refurbishment before re-flying.
It's funny that SpaceX fans were hating on SLS when it will be ready first by far. SLS will be ready for WDR at the end of the year, Starship can only put a docking adapter on a normal V3 and Blue Origin is at risk of not having a launch Pad to get to orbit.
