SpaceX will likely have built 10-20 more Starships and boosters by the time Artemis III launches.
What you’re saying is it takes NASA all this time to build 1 rocket when SpaceX will 10x that with a fully reusable rocket that costs 40x less to launch.
Orion and SLS are ~4 billion a launch.
Starship and Superheavy are ~100 million a launch.
Oh, and SpaceX will get that V3 booster back with an RTLS while SLS will be dumped into the ocean. The only reusable part is Orion, which will have to go under major refurbishment before re-flying.
It's funny that SpaceX fans were hating on SLS when it will be ready first by far. SLS will be ready for WDR at the end of the year, Starship can only put a docking adapter on a normal V3 and Blue Origin is at risk of not having a launch Pad to get to orbit.
