ABSTRACT RECAPS WITH MIKA #8 ✳️
Space: "RWAs Supercycle" (05/28/2026)

1. RWA/RWC stayed strong despite market noise
The space opened with a clear point: even when the broader market pulls back, RWAs/RWCs on Abstract are still showing real momentum.
The speakers framed physical collectibles as one of the clearest bridges between Web2 and Web3 because the use case is easy to understand: real products, real ownership, real demand, but with onchain rails layered on top.
2. Abstract ecosystem had a packed May
Raj highlighted the May ecosystem recap and pointed to several updates across the network.
The APAC team was in Thailand for an IRL campaign with Shiny, which had a strong turnout and more activations planned over the next 4–6 weeks. Cambria also launched Cambria Dungeons, exclusively on Abstract.
Another big number: Rugpull Bakery hit a new all-time high prize pool of a little over $320K.
3. Community infrastructure keeps improving
The official Abstract Luma is back and now allows community members to add online or IRL events directly.
The idea is simple: Abstract already has active community energy everywhere, and Luma helps organize it in one place so more people can show up, support, and discover what is happening.
They also relaunched the old Abstract Angels account as abs TV, shifting it into a broader creator/community hub for ecosystem events, content, educators, leaders, and culture.
4. Dyli x Gacha is becoming a real RWA case study
Gacha talked about working with Dyli on the physical collectibles side, including shipping, packaging, and handling demand.
They mentioned support around US and Hong Kong operations because Gacha deals with Japanese, English, and Chinese products. Dyli was praised for careful packaging and reliability, especially as demand grew quickly over the last few months.
Gacha also expanded beyond graded slabs into sealed products, which seems to be driving a lot of the recent momentum.
5. Physical vaults unlock more than storage
One of the strongest points came from the discussion around physical vaults.
The argument was that vaulting is not new, but Web3 makes it more flexible. Instead of closed systems like traditional vaults, tokenized collectibles can unlock cross-platform features, new apps, gamified layers, and more accessible ownership.
The speaker described NFTs as a natural fit for collectibles: they let users collect, trade, and access larger collections without taking on extra storage risk or needing to physically hold everything themselves.
6. Gacha’s pivot is working
Gacha shared that they originally started with a more digital pack-style product, but realized users wanted a more fun and transparent collecting experience.
Now users can open actual packs, see the odds, and collect products like Pokémon and One Piece, with Riftbound also mentioned as a future addition.
They also talked about launching new packs weekly for months to test demand and understand what collectors actually want. According to their live Dune data, volume had moved from around $8M to about $9M, with gross revenue also increasing.
7. Creator activity is becoming part of the flywheel
GMB talked about creating guides with top Abstract gamers and creators, helping users learn how to win, beat dungeons, and get better at ecosystem games.
He also floated the idea of a creator jackpot or “risk-to-stream” mechanic, where streamers could potentially generate rewards for viewers during live content.
That fits the broader theme of the space: Abstract is not only building projects, but also building the content layer around those projects.
TL;DR
This space was mostly about Abstract’s RWA/RWC momentum.
Main takeaways:
-Abstract’s physical collectibles sector is still strong.
-Shiny, Dyli, Gacha, Cambria, and Rugpull Bakery all had major updates.
-Luma and abs TV are improving community coordination and visibility
-Dyli x Gacha is becoming a strong example of Web3-enabled collectibles
-Physical vaults can unlock new gamified and cross-platform use cases
-Gacha’s pivot into sealed packs and transparent collecting is clearly working
-Creators and streamers are becoming part of the ecosystem growth loop
Abstract is turning RWAs and collectibles into one of its strongest consumer crypto verticals ✳️💚
