Loneliness Awareness Week 2024 is this week. The theme, Random Acts of Connection, encourages everyone to increase those simple, everyday moments of connection which help us feel happier, less lonely and increase our sense of belonging.

It's Loneliness Awareness Week where everyone is encouraged to make a #RandomActOfConnection. Here's one example of ways you can help. Contact your local Age UK in London and see how you can help someone who is lonely.
It can be hard to maintain connections as we get older.
Becoming a Community Connector #volunteer you could enjoy chatting , have a cuppa, or go for a walk with someone in your local area so they feel less lonely
To apply: ageuk.org.uk/sutton/get-invoβ¦#RandomActsofConnection
This #LonelinessAwarenessWeek why not try a #RandomActOfConnection:
Introduce yourself to a neighbour you havenβt met yet.
Smile at a passerby and brighten their day
Talk to someone new on a dog walk
Call a friend to catch up
Join a local Parkrun and chat to someone new
