Our state's child care workers have not received a cost of living increase since 2016, even as inflation has gone up rapidly.
That changes in this year's budget--child care workers will receive an over 25% increase in the budget we voted to approve yesterday, a desperately needed, overdue investment in our youngest kids, their families, and providers.
Proud to stand with them and celebrate with them. Investing in educators, child care providers, and young children is one of the best investments we can make.
