Laura Horsfall’s yard is 2-2 the last two weeks and has Kampari back out again today (3.10 Sedgefield) who has looked a complete donkey so far. Making handicap debut in a C5 though off a low weight… could unlock something a bit better and 18/1 is a big price for a potential plotjob. The drift is a tad scary but no harm in having a tiny go
Culhane/Barclay yard is also 2-2 the last two weeks and has Spirit Of Bowland back out again today (8.00 Newcastle) who is a C&D winner trying first time blinkers today. Won’t need to do much to win this and 9/2 is an exciting price for an each way double
Freddie Keigley is 3-3 at Sedgefield for Nicholls and they have one combo today with A King Of Magic (3.40). Surely they’re not sending him 297 miles to lose and impact their 100% record together here. The horse finally got his head in front LTO and the form has been franked. I can’t see not winning here today. NAP material at 5/4. Will be in a win yankee
Pauling/Woods are 40% together at Ludlow and they have one combo today at 3.20 with FourOneOhFever. He wasn’t asked to try at all last month at Newbury and making handicap debut today it now does look a bit sticky. Opening mark in this C4 could really be exploited and I think wins. Will be in a win yankee
Watson/Hollie are 30% together at Newcastle and they have one combo today at 6.30 where Albasheer is a C&D winner who would’ve desperately needed the run at Chelmsford last month after 13 months off the track. This could’ve been the target the whole time and 14/1 seems big to me to have a tiny go
Tom Creen (4.40 Sedgefield) is a C&D winner who has perfect conditions today to get back in the winners enclosure and no excuses. Interested at 9/2 for a small each way double
The longest traveller today is King Sacre (5.10) who is making handicap debut after some very sub par performances but who knows, could be plotting and at 10/1 I wouldn’t be fully against having a tiny go
Fred Timmis yard is 3-6 at Ludlow and he’s sending just RewriteTheRules today (4.50) who hasn’t won under rules in years but was off the track for over a year since falling at Taunton last January. 3rd here on that reappearance behind eventual Cheltenham festival winner last month and this step down in trip will help and with the fitness on side, 40/1 could be massive to have a tiny go on
Willie has a decent enough record at Cork and he’s sending two there today with Jody booked on Emerald Enigma (5.35) for her only ride of today. Nice enough pedigree and won’t need to do too much to win this today at 11/8. Can be in my yankee
MAppleby has one out at Newcastle today (7.30) where Juan Le Pins used to be a winning machine and has lost his way a bit. Photo finish second over C&D last week shows a potential revival and won’t have a better chance to get back in the winners enclosure today being 2lb well in from the inside stall with Harry Davies booked for the first time. Can finalise the yankee
