Thinking about reupping my #Bookshare subscription. What's the most efficient way to access Braille versions of the books using iOS along with #VarioUltra #Braille display? Is the Read2Go app an option?

I’m blind. I like to use the Read2Go app to read the words in braille and listen to them at the same time. It’s a great experience to feel the book.

Hi Chris, We're so glad that you love Bookshare. We recommend switching from Read2Go to Dolphin Easy Reader as Read2Go has not been updated in a few years. We think that may resolve this issue. Dolphin Easy Reader is free and works on iOS 9.1 . (1/2)

Hello @Bookshare. First off I’d like to say we love you! But I have a question, my son (12) uses Read2Go, since moving from an iPad to iPhone he needs use voice-to-text to search for books. For example: He searched for Deathcaster today and it came up as death castor and

What I want to be able to do is read a book with the voice on my phone, or at any moment switch to a Braille display, and go back and forth easily. @Bookshare’s Read2Go, @VoiceDreamApp’s VoiceDreamReader, and @YourDolphin’s EasyReader all accommodate that need. I’m so grateful!

7. Read2Go is an app that allows the user to download books onto the app, as well as read the books already on the app. There are highlighting options, and text to speech options so the user can customize it to her liking. #VUATAppChat

@Bookshare is a great resource for books. They have phone apps like Read2Go and voicedream that will read out loud.

First step: help the student learn the built-in VoiceOver tool. Then, Read2Go or VoiceDream Reader (along with a free Bookshare membership) and LearningAlly. Then, a calculator that works with VoiceOver (why the iPad doesn't have a built-in calculator, I'll never know.)

I only still use Read2Go for more graphic novels. VDR never includes the images making the narration not ideal for that kind of book #ATchat
