Body recomp is crazy bc i feel like im not doing smth right when i weigh myself and the number on the scale is the same but then i remember muscle is heavier than fat so i am losing fat but bc of the muscle i still weigh the same

the recomp in OP is doing the same "static recomp" bit with xenia as a base, is the issue. people are acting as if there's a difference when there's not.

i am trying SO SO hard to get my bmi below 25 by the end of the month but maybe i’ll go for body recomp after that?? idk i kind of accidentally did it last summer so clearly it’s a solid option

also look at that user's github. it has tons of recomps to the point where this user should be blacklisted by the recomp community. all of his toolkits (ie psxrecomp, nesrecomp, n64recomp) use claude and has been pushing them out to the point of it literally being slop

It’s not a xenia fork only the gpu and audio are used the rest is a full recomp lots of lies ans misinformation is out there sadly lots of idiots from reddit. Rexglue which was used not ai uses xenias gpu and audio temporarily until proper renders can be made from debugging.

We’re starting this series back up bc I’m bored and on a cut/body recomp again. ZOA Lemon Lime (zero sugar) Not hard to screw up Lemon Lime flavored anything and ZOA kinda did here. It tastes still too sweet even for zero sugar? And not enough lemon/lime. 5.4/10

Still couldn’t get cherry cola so I tried Celsius Strawberry Lemonade. We have our first true dud of the series. This was nasty lmao. The flavor is like if a sugarless lemonade (almost lemon extract in carbonated water) was next to a strawberry flavored LaCroix. 4.4/10.

This is still a big difference to what the type of recomp this post is talking about though, should put more detail in that initial comment if thats what you meant. I dont see an issue with this compared to the recomps that are just running the emulator in the background.

By the devs' own admission, Unleashed Recomp doesn't exist without building on existing Xenia dev work. It's still very cool and impressive...but it's also still Xenia, engineered specifically for Unleashed to remove JIT overhead.

What do you think the XenosRecomp and XenonRecomp tools used for Unleashed Recomp are based on? Xenia and emulators are general are doing dynamic (or Just In Time) recompilation. Unleashed Recomp is a static recomp that performs better, but is still based on Xenia.
