It’s so wonderful to see the arts becoming more accessible, breaking down barriers, and making sure everyone can feel included and inspired. ✨ Recently, we were thrilled to take our music students to a relaxed performance of L'elisir d'amore (The Elixir of Love) by the English National Opera. Relaxed performances are designed to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, allowing everyone to enjoy the show in a way that suits them best. This is especially great for people with disabilities, health conditions and other access needs, or anyone who might usually find going to the theatre a bit challenging.
Before the performance, our students had a fantastic time trying on costumes and taking photos, fully immersing themselves in the fun of the show! When the curtains rose, they were captivated by the beautiful singing, the lively orchestra and all the funny moments on stage. Everyone had such a good time that they’re already looking forward to going again!
