Had an absolute ball at the @LboroTownHall #RelaxedPerformance of Cinderella. Completely hilarious. An ongoing ad hoc joke that audience joined in with - at one point an Ugly Sister had to stumble offstage to compose himself after a brilliant response from the 'audience-dad'!

Hugely looking forward to the #RelaxedPerformance of Cinderella at @LboroTownHall tomorrow. Another fabulous panto (&, yes, I have already seen it, when I adapted the 'straight' performance into a 'relaxed' one. Panto #6 of 25/26 &, calamitously, the last of this season!

It’s so wonderful to see the arts becoming more accessible, breaking down barriers, and making sure everyone can feel included and inspired. ✨ Recently, we were thrilled to take our music students to a relaxed performance of L'elisir d'amore (The Elixir of Love) by the English National Opera. Relaxed performances are designed to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, allowing everyone to enjoy the show in a way that suits them best. This is especially great for people with disabilities, health conditions and other access needs, or anyone who might usually find going to the theatre a bit challenging. Before the performance, our students had a fantastic time trying on costumes and taking photos, fully immersing themselves in the fun of the show! When the curtains rose, they were captivated by the beautiful singing, the lively orchestra and all the funny moments on stage. Sending a massive Thank You to the fabulous #SnowWhite company at @LboroTownHall. The #RelaxedPerformance was as magical as ever. And, rather gorgeously, I acquired another child during the show! The little boy sitting in front of us decided that I was The Girl To Be With!

Can't wait for this afternoon's #RelaxedPerformance of Snow White at @LboroTownHall. This show is always one of the highlights of Christmas and New Year. So many of our friends will be there and the atmosphere is always glorious!
