Rhain Cordova has been in and out of the Colorado system since 2016 with a string of arrests for assault, felony vehicular eluding, failures to appear, contempt and other charges. Cordova picked up felony convictions along the way, did time in CDOC, got released on parole and then violated parole which sent him back to prison.
On 6/9/26 Denver police arrested him on investigative holds for second degree assault, second degree kidnapping, sex assault without consent involving force or threat, and robbery all flagged as domestic violence. There are also holds from Pueblo County Sheriff for assault and sex assault cases tied to domestic violence. He’s currently being held on a $200,000 cash only bond.
This is a clear repeat offender with a history of violence who keeps cycling through the courts and jails only to end up back out committing more serious offenses.
When are judges and DAs going to be held liable for what repeat offenders do after they get released and given countless chances?
The revolving door is costing people their safety and it’s time someone was held accountable for it.
