What you're seeing in several posts where a brand pulls a content piece and sends notice to the creator isn't new! Yes, there are multiple such cases across the industry, and many among us have fought similar small battles.
Story time: I was made a party to a similar case a few years back, but back then, the brand I dealt with was reputable and understood the consequences of continuing the case. The brand reps handled it so maturely that it left neither party with a bad taste. The best part was that the brand immediately withdrew the legal letter within a few hours, and I continued doing what I do. End of story!
But what's concerning right now is how this is being done, and I don't think, as a professional covering this space for so many years, I can remain neutral.
