Speculating at a time like this isn’t just irresponsible, it’s disrespectful. The aircraft was under 10 years old. The pilots were certified & fairly experienced. The protocol was followed throughout, and Mayday was declared. Let the investigation speak before we draw conclusions.

Mahisagar District Collector Neha Kumari's remarks, reportedly calling advocates 'chapal khava layak che' (advocates should be trashed by slippers), in reference to their role in defending atrocity cases, are highly condemnable. This incident highlights the shocking bias, as per the news report, where she allegedly dismissed a Dalit advocate’s dignified representation in an atrocity case, instead suggesting blame should be placed on the lawyers involved.
The legal profession stands as a pillar of justice, protecting rights and ensuring fair representation. Such derogatory statements from an administrative authority undermine the justice system and insult those who uphold it. We urge the Bar Council of Gujarat (@BarGujarat) and the Bar Council of India (@barcouncilindia) to seek strict action from the state government. Respect for advocates and their duty to defend is non-negotiable. #StandWithLawyers #JusticeForAdvocates #RespectTheProfession
