I’m very grateful for the invitation. I only wonder whether my being the author would really be an issue #AcademicTwitter #PeerReview #PostdocLife #ReviewerProblems #PeerReviewGoneWrong #ScienceHumor

You know what really sucks? Spending 3 hours reviewing a paper and the website resets when you hit "submit." Note to self: keep all comments in a separate document and transfer them over to the website when finished. #killme #academicpublishing #reviewerproblems #secondreviewer

Currently reviewing a paper which felt very familiar, turns out its nearly identical to one I wrote a few years ago, not sure whether to be flattered or annoyed #reviewerproblems #academicwriting #academictwitter

The struggle of getting an ARC for a book coming out in August and it's one you want to read SO BAD, but if you read it, you just have to sit on your feelings for 7 months til everyone else can read it too.. #reviewerproblems #bookworms #BookTwitter

Writing a review for my latest audiobook and I'm struggling to articulate my feelings - 'woooooooooo amazeballs' does not a compelling review make. #ReviewerProblems

TFW when you read a book last week but now you can't remember what it was about. I had to look at the blurb to get a refresher. #reviewerproblems

Just culled two Boston Public Library sacks' worth of books from my shelves (the bags are from @Levenger, sillies!). No wonder booksellers are so buff. #books #reviewerproblems #notreallyproblems

I've read approximately 5-10 reviews books lately & haven't written even a sentence of a review. Most of them have been pretty meh. One was NOT GOOD ℒ️. It's been so hard to sit down and write about books. But I'm going to force myself to sit at my desk & try. #reviewerproblems

Welp, I submitted two reviews on Netgalley. And then promptly downloaded two more books. I need to come to terms with the fact that my percentage is probably never going to get above 65% #reviewerproblems

Past me: I am definitely going to spend the weekend catching up on reading. Current me: Manages to finish one short story in a novella and spends the rest of the day scrolling through Twitter & IG. #reviewerproblems #RomanceReaders

Just had the rudest email from an author πŸ˜… No, I cannot read any faster than I am currently doing because I am not a robot and giving insightful feedback means a lot to me. It takes time! Someone's getting moved down the list... 😈 #reviewerproblems
