Day 12 – 30 Days of Better Animation in After Effects with Squash & Stretch
🤖 Bring your characters to life — fast and without manual keyframes!
🚀 With Photoshop’s new AI features, preparing your artwork is lightning-fast — and with Squash & Stretch, animating it is just as quick.
In Day 12 of 30 Days of Better Animation, we start with an AI-generated robot from Adobe Firefly, and use Photoshop’s new AI tools to prep the artwork in record time.
With Generative Fill and the Object Selection Tool, isolating individual parts (like arms and legs) into layers takes just seconds — no manual masking required!
Then, in After Effects, we use Squash & Stretch Pro to animate each robot part with randomized motion using the "In → On the Spot" behaviors.
Need a different vibe? Just undo and reapply until it feels right — no tweaking keyframes!
