Men will probably leave women for this humanoid robot.
With female styled humanoids the biggest problems will probably be emotional rather than technical.
A strange kind of jealousy can appear because the robot always answers calmly never gets tire never argues back and gives constant attention.
One partner may start comparing a real relationship with a machine designed to please. That is where the discomfort begins.
Emotional dependency can also grow. Some people may prefer talking to the robot after an argument instead of fixing the issue with their partner.
The line around loyalty may become unclear. For one person it is just a machine. For the other it may feel like an intimate presence inside the home.
Privacy could become a serious issue too. A humanoid with cameras microphones and cloud connection in a bedroom or living room changes the trust inside a couple.
There may also be fights over the robot’s role at home. Domestic assistant social companion luxury object or a permanent third presence in the relationship.
The most painful part will be the unfair comparison. A human has moods, limits stress and wounds. A machine can be tuned to look sweet patient and available every second.
The real test for couples will be simple:
when does a humanoid assistant stop feeling like a tool and start feeling like emotional competition?
Would you trust a robot designed to look this human?
