#bangkokearthquake I feel the need to clear up some things since there’s a lot of news circulating, and some of it exaggerates the situation, making it seem like we’re living in a post-apocalyptic world. I’m based in Bangkok, Thailand, and as you might have heard, we were impacted by the 8.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Burma yesterday. I’ve had many friends checking in on me—thank you so much for that. I just wanted to give you an update: everyone I know here, both in and out of the crypto community, is doing fine. There was a tragic incident with a construction building collapsing, and sadly, there were casualties there. But aside from that, other buildings are still intact. This kind of earthquake is new to us, but we’re all holding up okay. The SEA Blockchain venue is also safe and undamaged. It’s a modern, low-rise building, so it’s in solid shape. Right now, we don’t need any donations. I’ve seen some people trying to raise funds for us, but honestly, Burma is the one hit hardest and could use the support more. Thailand is managing alright. I’ve been following the news closely to stay informed, and I’ll let you know if anything changes. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out—I really appreciate it.
