No need to spread misinformation about something you have zero understanding of. Israel, until now, has been far too lenient with psycho terrorists. So if your name is Ahmed and you ram your car into 10 civilians in a bus stop, you are arrested and sent to prison. There, you are treated relatively well, considering the heinous crime you perpetrated. If you are lucky like Simwar, Israel will even treat your illnesses and save your life with cutting edge medicine you couldn't access in the sh$thole you came from. The problem is that in 5 years, your fellow Hamas terrorists will go on some murderous ramapge, killing and kidnapping civilians and if all goes well, Israel's government will be forced to trade you and dozens of other terrorists just like you in order to save the life of one single civilian. What this law aims to do is take away that hope from murderers. No chilling out in Israeli prison whete you get better food and amenities than you do in Gaza. The threat of death in prison will hopefully act as a deterrent and take away negotiating power from murderers. Also, keep in mind that the death penalty is the same way they would be treated in Gaza where, fun fact, Hamas would punish those who commit crimes (stealing, collaborating with Israel) with brutal and violent death that makes hanging seem like a spa treatment in comparison.
