The digitised records will help farmers, industrial investors, and officials access reliable information from anywhere, while preserving old records securely and eliminating dependence on paper files. We will also integrate this system with the Rural Development Department’s e-Swathu platform to simplify services such as e-Khata and related processes. Our goal is clear: a faster, transparent, investor-friendly, and farmer-sensitive #KIADB.

Tumakur, Karnataka: State Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara says, "At the state government’s achievement convention on May 20 in Tumakuru, documents under various schemes, including E-Swathu from the Revenue Department, will be distributed to around 1.3 lakh beneficiaries. Beneficiaries from multiple departments will receive benefits at the event. Preparations are underway, all party MLAs are expected to participate, and the Chief Minister will attend. The programme will highlight the government’s achievements over the past three years."

Karnataka has enabled e-Swathu services at Bapooji Seva Kendra (Grama One), Karnataka One & Bengaluru One centres, said @PriyankKharge. Citizens can now submit applications locally, improving access to property services. The three-year pact between RDPR and EDCS includes operator training and nodal oversight. A Rs 45 fee applies for new Khata services and Rs 5 per page for document uploads. Centres will function 8am-7pm, except on national holidays.

To Ziemia obraca się "pod" satelitą, co powoduje, że z każdą kolejną orbitą satelita może zobrazować zupełnie inny pasek planety. Oczywiście, jeśli satelita ma możliwość skanowania tylko wąskiego paska powierzchni pod sobą (parametr opisujący tą szerokość nazywamy swath lub pokos), to nie jest w stanie zobrazować planety w ciągu jednej doby. Ale jeśli satelitów umieścimy kilka - tak jak w przypadku załączonej animacji trzy - wtedy szanse na takie pokrycie planety rosną. Kluczowe pytanie, które zadają sobie twórcy konstelacji do obserwacji Ziemi - jaki będzie czas rewizyty, czyli co jaki czas konstelacja jest w stanie zobrazować to samo miejsce. I recently wrote to the Union Minister for Electronics and IT on the urgent need to stabilise and optimise e-Swathu 2.0, a platform that is critical to rural Karnataka. e-Swathu 2.0, a major upgrade to our rural property management system, enabling faster and fully online issuance of e-Khata documents across 6,000 Gram Panchayats. e-Swathu 2.0 has the potential to regularise nearly 95 lakh properties, bring transparency to rural land records and generate up to ₹2,000 crore in revenue for the state. More importantly, it directly impacts property registration, access to bank credit and financial inclusion for millions of rural households. Since the rollout, both citizens and Panchayat officials have faced operational issues on the platform, including difficulty in submitting applications, workflow failures and frequent disruptions between modules. Despite repeated follow-ups, the NIC team has not yet been able to stabilise all components. I have sought immediate intervention to ensure restoration of smooth, reliable service delivery so that this reform works as intended on the ground.
