Thank you @johnpringdns & @MarshadeCordova for highlighting the damaging impact of #LTNs on disabled people's independence - a rarely reported perspective, which is very welcome. Such policies can assail the rights of others, especially, but not exclusively, the most vulnerable. However, the damage is certain to be inordinately greater especially in areas where a #wreckingball is taken to communities. This may arise where displaced LTN and concentrated aviation pollution (air and noise) collide in narrow toxic corridors, and particularly small pockets - creating 'choke points'. Away from public gaze, the lives, homes and physical, as well as mental health, may be irreparably harmed and blighted for a significant minority, and #communitycohesion destroyed. Yet remedies or redress have either not been contemplated or are presently significantly inadequate . This needs to be fairly reviewed and resolved so that the welcome wealth that Labour plans to create, isn't in part created off the back of #bloodmoney from the newly exploited and discarded #underclass who may otherwise be irreparably harmed.
