That’s a pain. But, the Lincolnshire wolds is lovely and so is some of the coast. We’re hoping to retire to Saltfleet or North Somercotes in a few years

Samphire. We used to go to Saltfleet every year and pick it on the beach. Back home it was washed and pickled in vinegar. My Dad ate it in sandwiches or with a slice of fat bacon, pickled onion and a round of dried bread (no butter). For breakfast too.

Future forest loading... 🌱🌳 Approximately 8,500 native trees and shrubs have been planted at Saltfleet Conservation Area to expand an existing forest patch and create more habitat for wildlife. This project included species such as white pine, white spruce, eastern white cedar, red oak, black cherry, sycamore, black walnut, highbush cranberry, and nannyberry. Thank you to Conservation Halton for their partnership and TC Energy for funding this restoration project

In Eastern North America, Purple Martins rely entirely on human-made homes to nest and we’ve rolled out the welcome mat! Nesting structures have landed at our wetland projects at Fifty Point and Saltfleet Conservation Area, helping to grow a nesting trail from Hamilton to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Every nest helps! With swallow populations declining, these homes are a small but mighty way to support local wildlife.

Just knocked on someone's door in my division to assure them in person that I am pushing for a fix for their issue asap, the gentleman shook my hand and said "I know your face, you're our local hero". That type of stuff keeps me doing what I'm doing and I incredibly appreciate it. Trying my best for the people of Saltfleet & The Cotes! 🩵➡️💪 @reformparty_uk

This time last year, polls closed in Saltfleet & The Cotes to elect their new County Councillor. I won with 1400 votes and over 40% of the vote. Since then, I have dedicated my time to voicing the concerns of my residents to the Council and communicating with residents. My speech against the Nuke Dump in my area (which we stopped) was the first and public example of that, but I put that passion into every issue that comes on my desk. I can't get everything done but I certainly make sure it's on the agenda! I've met so many amazing people within my division, trying to be as present as possible at events and out and about. I've also met amazing people outside my division working as a councillor who I would have never otherwise met. Our Reform team at LCC is such a special group and I feel honoured to be a part of what we have built. So to the people of Saltfleet & The Cotes, thank you very much for your support and the honour to be your County Councillor! As always, any issues that you want me to look at, I'm only an email away. I may be a Reform Councillor, but I am also a Councillor for everyone in my division. Lots still on my to do list, and will be back busy in the division after May 7th! Kind regards, Cllr Bayleigh Robinson Saltfleet & The Cotes Division Lincolnshire
