#CPSC2025: Marie-Christine Therrien - There is a real need to look at #scienceadvice in municipal levels - Crisis management, intro of AI, climate change - all areas that require evidence to shape policy - but do cities have the capacity to optimise this. Cities live at a very pragmatic level. Cities are looking for evidence or methodologies that help them help their citizens. There's also increasing demand for knowledge translation for cities - how they can use it immediately, how can it be used to increase their economic capacity?
