I still use it daily, it it needs a major editor overhaul.

I used Screenflow for many years before Screen Studio. It was our go-to app a decade ago. It doesn't have all the zooms and cursor options.

Captures multiple screens, devices & mics all at the same time. Has an OK editor and lots of other great features.

@MengTo sharing @ScreenFlow in case you are not aware of it - it is the greatest screen capture app for macOS. It is still "another tool" but there is no better capture tool that I am aware of.

@Telestream I really enjoy Screenflow v10, it's a great product. However, it's been ages since you updated, and now it seems you've locked download behind some walls. I CAN log in, located my order, but can't download. Why not?

subs because I’m kinda in the same spot. Egghead graduate so I always just used Screenflow. But as said, not very AI friendly. My take at this right now is to “live edit”. Kinda an approach inspired what Matt does, resulting in a couple of clips which then AI could edit, insert animations / overlay things. But I could also just load them into Screenflow if a heavier edit is needed. Most of my videos don’t need that so that’s my hope

Not very. The complex stuff happens in Remotion. I pretty much just want ScreenFlow for clipping out bad takes etc. I would use AI for this too, but transcripts aren't precise enough.

How complex are your timelines in ScreenFlow usually?

Yeah, been considering moving away from Screenflow because it's just not agent friendly at all. What a world we live in now man

My productivity is 72.4% up since I bought Matte by Jose. The amount of time perfecting screen recordings and aligning them with the iPhone's bezel and Dynamic Island using ScreenFlow was A LOT, now I can just forget about that.
Insane thread by Fede on how he makes videos for @BitrigApp using Matte and a custom built animation tool.

ScreenFlow, but with automated transcriptions, which can be used to edit clips, silence removal, a Keynote-like canvas editor, and an agent to perform any in-app action.

i did start scaffolding one out tbh for reasons like that there are a couple of features that i miss from using @ScreenFlow when using @screenstudio and vice versa sometimes i end up recording and then editing in ScreenFlow
