Day 178:
- Yesterday I've installed claude code, and today I had my first 2 contributions (ever) on an opensource project that I really like, which is
openscreen.vercel.app/
- Shipped 2 Pull Requests, one is the redesign of the save dialog, and one is a "custom zoom" feature alongside the preset (1.25x, 1.5x) buttons
- It was honestly pretty fun, even though I lack a bit of syntax knowledge, thankfully AI was there to assist, but in a couple of hours I already made the QA, fixed issues to be sure I push a stable feature branch
Honestly I think
@sidious_man did a pretty neat job, it's one of the most promising screenrecorder with quality, fast and flexible outputs I've seen lately. I already made myself a stable local version that I can keep using. Bravo to him and all the contributors!
On Luxyn:
- Started to organize all my past changelogs, and I'll keep populating them
- Planned new features before a stable release are on the way, user dashboard, invite system (important for growth), and some smaller-bigger adjustments
- I've been putting a delay for long on the paid request I was asked to do (1hr course material on "vibecoding" websites b2b), finally I'll come up with the script today, and also I have now a great screenrecorder as well thanks to Open Screen 😀
