Google Chrome tests AI Mode that could replace traditional search results. Google is reportedly experimenting with a new feature in Chrome Canary that would launch an AI interface directly from the address bar — bypassing the standard Google Search results page. The experimental flag, called "Fulfill Searchbox Queries in AI Mode," is available on Mac, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS. Mobile users won't see it yet. Early tests show mixed results. Some users see the AI Mode automatically; others still get the traditional search page. Want to try it? Download Chrome Canary, go to chrome://flags, search "Fulfill," enable the flag, and restart. But don't get too excited yet. Google says this is "just for exploration" with no immediate plans for a public rollout. If it does launch, it would mark a massive shift in how we use Google Search.
