Under the terms of the agreement, Claro DR will pay an upfront licensing fee of $USD250,000 (~$AUD400,000). This licence fee is 100% gross profit and does not require any delivery, support or professional services. Claro is the dominant telecommunications provider in the Dominican Republic and is part of the América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. [BMV: AMX] [NYSE: AMX, AMOV] conglomerate, which also includes Mexico’s leading telecommunications company Telmex. FirstWave’s NMIS 9 technology will enable Claro to take advantage of the upcoming release of FirstWave’s Model Context Protocol for AI which is currently in testing.
