@Grok semantics I guess. Still science IS actually a process, as well as a collection of knowledge - however this is not static. But questioning whether the sun will rise tomorrow, or whether gravity is real is more philosophy than science. We tend not to question well established knowledge, based on prior experience, right?

Not here for semantics, mate.

You & op are antis and use tactics and semantics to shade him but it's no use. You end up like dogs barking at the sun cuz it has no effect on us. In fact, I hope V fans will make it to every concert with more banners like these if it'll make y'all mad

Also if was not clear by my playing semantics with the amendments. I do agree that America was founded as a white country predominantly . That is definitely not a point of contention that is obvious There’s no question that it should continue like that too. I think percentages that have been in place for hundreds of years are suitable. Start with the 14th amendment but even before that moratorium on immigration . The ones that are already in the pipeline keep them going . Sen Mike Lee about nine months ago He had a great thing on X where he detailed how you wouldn’t even need a congressional amendment. I’ll try to find it whole debacle of immigration has to be settled post haste.

The BBC has a licence fee, so it is a paid for service. We can get into technical semantics and loose interpretations but I just find sticking to the letter of the law. Up to you if you pay it but obviously not paying it and watching it would make someone a hypocrite

You keep saying clans but clan literally means family, ruling clans were the same as house of Lancaster etc. It's just semantics.
2
But again it’s just semantics I’d say “I’m not a fan of the game but I really like X character” or “I really like this part of the story”

Kill epistemology coz too many why there. Kiss semantics coz it's bridge between meaning and expression. Marry ontology coz the first question it asks is does love really exist.
kiss kill marry semantics, ontology, epistemology

I know you guys are arguing semantics about the post GoW 3 games and whether Kratos would be considered the God of War still… but Kratos was literally NOT the god of war in the FIRST game named God of War.

it's funny how leftists pretend to be "literate" just because they decide to play semantics in platforms with a few dozen characters. "ah aha haha you said the wrong word, it's because you didn't read my book and if you did you wouldn't even think like you do"
People don't hate markets, economies, or trade. But capitalists think that all of that is capitalism and they're too illiterate to understand the differences.

So when I said that I have my gripes with people saying that it was stylized realism before because of this exact reason, you just ignore that? And again, I wasn't trying to semantics you, even if I did

We’ll call you when we need your advice about semantics.

It might just be semantics but you’re not a fan of the game without playing it you’re a fan of a story or a character or an artstyle you can’t be a fan of a “game” without the gameplay I think people are just overprotective of their passions it really isn’t that deep but I get it

Are we really pretending that a surrender is not a form of negotiation? Has the Marxist Nonsense rotted everyone’s brains that simple semantics is somehow a “controversy” Japan’s unconditional surrender was informed by Potsdam Some Treaties post WW2 took decades to finalize

Chill out, it’s semantics and it’s not that serious. Did a blogger kill your dog or something?

Other than shareholders (which creatively is nothingburger) these principles applies to most studios. With the sheer amount of deals/funds its got from huge companies, you genuinely have to get down to the finest semantics and notions to argue its indie.

I was cringe once, obsessed with semantics and arguing with people over pathetic things, the only difference between that me and this me is that now I think these arguments are interesting and funny, back then I felt like my self worth was defined by my ability to gather nods.

i'm very outspoken about my hatred towards transphobia and this happens often when it's discussed. people refuse to see nuance and get caught up in semantics. both can be discussed without accusing you of something so vile. you explained yourself, i would say that's enough.

because the brain is not a literal computer and the economy is not just data being calculated by computers, this is my whole point. you can't get semantics from syntax.
