TheReal_Cando's Powermac G5 ATX conversion 2.0 After 2 years again me with another g5 conversion. This one is for my girl with some improvements and adapted for bigger AIO cooler. I used again laserhive atx conversion kit because its good and I wont spend another time to make my own one. (why invent wheel when there is already good one) After making G5 atx compatible I startet to make it look pretty so I made: -aluminium bracket to mount 240mm AIO cooler on top shelf -acrylic lower “base” for mounting 2.5” ssd and rubber mounted 3.5” hdd. -acrylic cover for lower base with some vent holes -acrylic macpro/powermac style grile for rear 120mm fan -little acrylic cover on rear fan just to fill gap between bottom and fan -acrylic cover for AIO radiator with little easteregg (hearth) -acrylic cover on back side next to mobo with 3.5inch display (sensorpanel) and aRGB light bar. -acrylic top cover with aRGB and mounting on top shelf -magnetic acrylic cover for top part of powermac using DVD drive as mounting point. -front IO,button and led cable loom (everything works except firewire) -extended cables for SSD and HDD on the bottom -HDD indicator led in same green color as macbook magsafe charger led. Specs: cpu i5 13600kf/ ram 32gb DDR5/ssd samsung 980pro 2tb/HDD WDgreen 2tb/psu corsair rm750x/mb asus tuf gaming z670plus/gpu RTX3060ti founders edition Most of it is acrylic because we use it at work also wit our cnc lasercuter. I have multi-monitor setup at the office and at home. No. 1 is for work No. 2 is for internet search, (this one is mirrored through a HDMI splitter with a huge UHD tv on the opposite wall) No. 3 is turned 90° for Word documents No. 4 is solely for the OSD Panel of AIDA64 No. 5 is a Tablet that was added (through spacedesk spacedesk.net/download/) for the SensorPanel (Temperatures etc.) of AIDA64 Without that, I couldn't work productively. Sometimes I'm at someone else's pc that has just one screen. I'm getting mad and I can't understand those that could live with just one monitor.

#Dnes3Dtisknu před-finální iteraci prototypu 😁 rámečku a stojánku na LCD SensorPanel. Vyšlo to epicky, jen maličko opravit vůle uvnitř a šířky vnitřních bezelů. Skvěle se povedla i krabička na controller board. Bude z toho asi i přenosný monitor k C64.

#Dnes3Dmodeluji rámeček na LCD, který bude dělat SensorPanel v PC case. Původní idea byla to dát jen do case, ale asi k tomu navrhnu i stolní stojánek. Bude se to tisknout na dva díly, říznuté rovinou XZ napůl. A displej se do toho zasune. #openscad

Otestoval jsem při tom nahrubo SensorPanel, to přijde na jiný LCD hezky schovat do kejsu, za přední prosklený panel.
