𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐩 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐬 For me, 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐩 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐬 is not just a day it is a reflection of my deepest belief that 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Sankalp is that sacred vow where 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and compassion takes the form of commitment. It is a reminder that 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬. Through 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐩 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐬, I wished to 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to make service an everyday act of humanity. Each initiative, each helping hand, is my way of saying that 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. It is not an event we organize; 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐲. When I see 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟐,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 finding hope, care, and dignity through our efforts, I feel the true purpose of Sankalp unfold. Every life we touch becomes a mirror reflecting 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞. To me, 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐩 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 a call to awaken the better in all of us. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐩, 𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞. Let 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐩 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐬 awaken the spirit of service within you, let every good intention find its action.
