You say you were "living in peace before" but do you think women were at peace when forced to make exceptions for men who "passed" by letting them trespass in our spaces?
We never gave consent for that.
In a female space where women may disrobe, which includes all public toilets, no man could ever obtain the consent required to enter, so every man who did so was violating the law against voyeurism by his mere presence, even if nobody was undressing at the time.
I can't believe I need to remind people that no man is allowed to see a woman or girl in a state of undress without first obtaining her sexual consent.
We don't think of it as
#SexualConsent being exchanged in a women's locker room because women don't leer at one another. That's a feature, not a bug, but men cannot imagine this to be the case. "The Male Gaze" that trans-identifying men bring into women's spaces is a violation of our sexual boundaries.
Perhaps we need to be reminded of why voyeurism is not just illegal but a sex crime. It is a degrading, dehumanizing sexual evaluation of the extent to which a male viewer wants to have sexual intercourse with the woman (of any age) he is viewing. On a scale of 1-10, the score would almost never be zero. Women know this. Every woman who uses a communal women's locker room is giving implied consent to see and be seen by other WOMEN (and ONLY women) in a state of undress. This is a form of sexual consent, which is why voyeurism is a sex crime.
The sexual consent of women and girls cannot be given by anyone except the individual. In order for a man to enter a women's washroom he would need to obtain sexual consent from *every* woman and girl who has a right to use that space, which is logistically impossible and you know it.
The reason trans-identifying men have been shrieking "TWAW" like banshees and hurling abuse at everyone who refuses to play along with their delusion is that women like me are finally saying "NO, we do not consent" even though they never asked for our consent. They just assumed it. They took something from us without our consent and now women are finally saying "No. Stop it. Get out and stay out of single-SEX spaces for the opposite sex, because you NEVER had permission to be there."
Yes, the men who got away with the sex crime of voyeurism with impunity for decades are going to be inconvenienced. This change will undoubtedly be painful for them. To quote Germaine Greer: I don't care.
