So I just finished my very first Leave to Appeal to the SCC Application!! I used to be so jealous of all those lawyers who were in the Supreme Court all the time...til I realized, you have to LOSE BIG in the Court of Appeal before you can apply for Leave...haha. Yay #SharpLegal

“No power” up here at #SharpLegal Muskoka means no heat, no water, no internet, no electricity, no flushing toilets, and no showers. So I packed up all my files and started the drive to Toronto to find THIS!! Ahhh! I’m trapped!!!

Agreed...in my first 30 some odd years of practice in a big firm, someone else did all of this for me...then in my first year at #SharpLegal I missed the (unknown) deadline by 2 days, and had to pay the fine. NO EXCEPTIONS. Argg

Hey #LawTwitter peeps with your own firms...did you know that LSO does random #Audits of new firms!?! Spent almost the entire day on #SharpLegal audit...it's EXHAUSTING!!! I now appreciate all the stuff that was done in my former firm by people who knew what they were doing!
