The summit brought together global health leaders, policymakers, and innovators to reimagine Africa’s health systems and drive solutions for stronger, more resilient communities. Today, Access to Medicines Platform (AtMP) co-convened a two-day National MPs SRHR Learning Workshop with Eastern Africa National Networks of AIDS and Health Service Organizations (EANNASO) under the EU-funded SHARP Project. The meeting brought together Members of Parliament from the Great Lakes Region to: - Strengthen understanding of national and regional SRHR commitments, including the Maputo Protocol and the International Conference on Population and Development Programme of Action - Review the status of adolescent SRHR services and commodities across partner states - Clarify the role of MPs in policy reform, budgeting, and oversight - Validate and synthesize key research findings to inform action The focus remains clear: advancing accountable, well-financed, and adolescent-responsive SRHR systems across the region. #SRHR #ASRH #SHARPProject
