I thought Starlink was supposed to prevent this — to keep people connected when everything else failed.
If the satellites are there, but access is throttled, region-locked, or personally gated…
then it’s not freedom.
It’s selective signal control.
One man shouldn’t decide which revolutions get a connection.
That’s not liberation. That’s empire.

A message from people on the ground in Isfahan with access to Starlink:
“We have nothing, no SMS, nothing.
All we hear is gunfire, heavy bursts, Kalashnikovs.
You can hear people chanting “Long live the Shah,” mixed with gunshots.
They’re setting everything on fire.
I’ve never seen anything like this, not even in 2019, 2022, or 2009.
This is unbelievable.
This is war.
They’ve switched to the national internet; for two or three hours only internal sites work.
You can’t make calls, you can’t send messages.
I took videos, you wouldn’t believe it.
They’ve cut the electricity.
I wish this message reaches you.”
