WHY ARE THEY REALLY ANGRY WITH GOV. SIM FUBARA? Is it because he awarded the historic Trans-Kalabari Road project that will finally connect riverine Kalabari communities directly to Port Harcourt? Or because he didn’t stop at completing the Ogbakiri–Tema Road, but went further to award the massive 19.7km Buguma–Abalama–Tema–Degema–Abonnema Road project? For years, many of these communities only heard promises. Today, they are witnessing real development, real infrastructure and real governance. Truth be told, Kalabari Kingdom has never had it this good. And this is just one part of the bigger story. And beyond Kalabari, the story is the same across LGAs, senatorial districts, tribes and communities in Rivers State. The projects and people-focused governance of Gov. Fubara continue to speak louder than political noise and propaganda. The detractors are uncomfortable because they also know that with these visible and impactful projects, Rivers people in 2027 will continue to choose #SimFubara again and again. Stay tuned; the evidence of governance is everywhere.

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara was noticeably absent as the All Progressives Congress screened 14 governors and other aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections. The exercise also included the screening of President Bola Tinubu’s challenger, Stanley Osifo. Party officials confirmed that several governors seeking re-election appeared before the committee, while questions continue to trail Fubara’s absence from the exercise. #CBINewsTV #APC #SimFubara #BolaTinubu #Elections #Rivers #Nigeria #Politics

The "Bow and Go" for Fubara while the others are left in the waiting room is the ultimate power move. ♟️ Politics is local, but the consequences are starting to look very global for certain people. The table is finally turning! 🍿 #RiversState #SimFubara #Wike

What really happened at the APC South-South Congress … And why Siminalayi Fubara may be the biggest winner The All Progressives Congress, APC, South-South Congress in Asaba was not just a party meeting … It was a calculated political operation ahead of 2027. No drama. No voting. No surprises. Just power … carefully arranged behind closed doors. But here is the twist: While many were watching party leaders … One man quietly strengthened his political future: Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara Yes - the same governor many thought was politically cornered months ago. Let us be honest … After the Rivers crisis and his fallout with Nyesom Wike, many believed Fubara was: Isolated Vulnerable Politically finished But politics in Nigeria is never that simple. The APC Congress used a “consensus strategy” - meaning: No elections No opposition No surprises Everything was agreed before delegates even arrived. And THIS is where it gets interesting … That consensus did one powerful thing: It blocked the emergence of new hostile leaders It stabilized the power structure It protected insiders already aligned with the system Guess who that benefits? Exactly - Fubara. By aligning early with APC leadership, he has now: Secured political recognition Gained elite backing Avoided internal sabotage He is no longer an outsider … He is now part of the inner political circle. And then came the messaging … Fubara did not fight anyone. He did not complain. He did not resist. Instead, he preached: Unity Cooperation 2027 victory That was not random - it was strategic alignment. Meanwhile, power brokers like Godswill Akpabio, Nigeria's powerful Senate President, dominated the stage. This matters because: Aligning with national figures = survival Survival = relevance Relevance = power in 2027 Fubara is playing the long game. Now let us talk about the elephant in the room… What does this mean for Nyesom Wike? The Congress quietly signaled one thing: Power is shifting from individuals… to structures. And that changes EVERYTHING in Rivers politics. The truth many won’t say: This Congress was not about party unity. It was about: Control Alignment 2027 positioning And in that chess game… Fubara made one of the smartest moves yet. But here’s the warning: This “peace” you are seeing? It is temporary. As 2027 gets closer: Old alliances will break New battles will emerge Hidden rivalries will explode Final thought: Love him or hate him, one thing is clear: Siminalayi Fubara is no longer fighting to survive… He is now positioning to control his political future And this Congress may have just given him that chance. QUESTION FOR YOU: Do you think Fubara has outsmarted his political rivals? Or, is this just a temporary escape? Drop your thoughts. Let’s debate. #2027Elections #2027election #simfubara #GodswillAkpabio #NyesomWike #APC

Quietly, Steadily, Relentlessly, Governor Siminalayi Fubara is not distracted by the theatre of politics, He understands that governance is not a performance, It is responsibility. He does not need to walk every project site daily for the cameras. Leadership is not about appearing everywhere, It is about ensuring that work is happening everywhere, So while critics search for headlines, Bulldozers clear new paths, While opponents gather cameras, Concrete is poured, bridges rise, and communities reconnect, No unnecessary fanfare, No desperate applause, Just the silent confidence of a leader, Who knows that true power is not in shouting, But in building. Let the political storms rage in the air, On the ground, the work continues, And when the dust finally settles, The people will not remember the loudest voices, They will remember the one who kept building. #RiversState #Leadership #Progress #SimFubara

Increased accessibility naturally improves the response time of security agencies and reduces the isolation that sea pirates often exploit. As of January 2026, the Trans-Kalabari Road is no longer a "paper project." Governor Fubara has maintained a strict inspection regime, recently noting that over 75% of the critical piling work which is the most difficult and time-consuming stage, has been completed. Gov. Fubara has set a completion target: The project is on track for a March 2026 delivery. At the moment, work has progressed beyond the foundation; bridge decks are being laid, and the "virgin road" through the swamp is visibly taking shape. Fubara’s "silent revolution" marks a shift from populist aesthetics to functional development. By prioritising the Trans-Kalabari Road, he is betting on a future where the geography of Rivers State no longer limits its economic potential. It is a "star project" not because it is flashy, but because it is essential. Barr. Eli is, however, troubled that the Governor might be destracted. "Can political detractors please leave Siminalayi Fubara alone so landmark development and economic incentive projects like this can be run to conclusion without being abandoned with the attendant colossal loss to the State?" Gov. Fubara has vowed to deliver this landmark project as part of his legacy to Rivers State and the Kalabari, particularly. The belief across Rivers State is that he will deliver it. #simfubara #2027Elections #riversstate #developement #BolaTinubu

My simple philosophy is this: one cannot rise to power through a structure and then seek moral validation while that same structure is being undermined. Equity demands clean hands. If Siminalayi Fubara wishes to persuade reasonable minds, the honest path is to relinquish the power obtained through a structure he has repeatedly sought to dismantle, and then submit himself to a fresh mandate on his own terms. Abi devil give you power, but you dey run go church go give testimony.🤔 Loyalty remains a virtue, one that only a few truly possess. #Wike #Tinubu #APC #Nigeria #Simfubara #Unmutedthepodcast #PDP

One fact remains undeniable: the actions of the Rivers State lawmakers have consistently been grounded in law. Whether one agrees with their motives or not, and regardless of how their actions are labeled, they have pursued their objectives through established legal processes. The same cannot be said, with equal certainty, of the Governor. That assessment, ultimately, is left to the judgment of the public. #Riverscrisis #Simfubara #Wike #Nigeria #Tinubu #RSHA

The Rivers Governor is approaching this crisis from a position of weakness, not strength. Public sympathy and media solidarity cannot override constitutional scrutiny. Based on the allegations and the referenced Supreme Court judgment, his chances of surviving impeachment are slim. What is required now is humility and realism, not arrogance or legal obstruction. The President, the APC, and all who seem to be advising him must state the facts plainly, not feed him false hope. #Riverstatecrisis #Wike #Tinubu #Simfubara #RSHA #Nigeria #2027Elections #FubaraImpeachment #RiversImpeachment #Impeachment #APC #PDP

The 'one individual' mentioned here is the elephant in the room. Rivers State belongs to the people, not a personal estate. If the allegations of unapproved appointments are false, then this impeachment move is nothing but a coordinated distraction from governance. Let the Governor work! 🕊️🇳🇬 #RiversState #SimFubara #AriseNews
