We're in an age where we more often wear stress as a "status" symbol, a badge of our busyness.
We're constantly comparing levels, constantly asserting just how 'stressed out' we are. I've been there, too, feeling as though stress is the soundtrack to my life.
However, here's the thing. When we keep asserting our stress, we're making it our truth. We're letting it weigh us down, defining our existence by it.

Here's my radical proposition: Let's change how we talk about stress.
I'm not saying we should deny our stressful moments; I've openly shared my own battle with burnout many years ago. However, it's about not letting stress become our everyday narrative.
Unfortunately, our society has often conditioned us to equate our value with accomplishment. Consequently, we're in perpetual stress, always chasing something, always feeling short of time.
Though, it doesn't have to be that way. It's time we take a kinder, gentler approach to ourselves.
