We are still covering concept phase topics and today I want to touch on reasons why I considered spinning up a CCorp and what is attractive about them for my tech start up business. Attracting Investment: CCorps are attractive to venture capitalists and investors because it allows for the different types of stock issuance such as preferred stock. These types of stock offer investments protections and benefits not typically available with LLCs. 2. Facilitating Stock Options: CCorps have the structure in place to offer employee equity. This is a way that start up companies attract top talent. By offering potential cash payouts with a successful product launch to employees. 3. Public Offering Potential: CCorps are the only business structure that can go public or IPO. So if my company's end game is public, I would have to be a CCorp eventually no matter what. 4. Perpetual Existence: CCorps can last indefinitely despite change in ownership, death of founders, etc. This is essential for business continuity around those large organizations that have many employees. Demo: this appears to have some defects and design inconsistencies.
