Sandisk閃迪宣布，正式推出一款創新的開源工具SPRandom，解決了SSD基準測試中的重大技術瓶頸。
預處理是基於實際工作負載對SSD進行效能測試的關鍵步驟，它能確保測試結果的準確性、可重複性，並能真實反映客戶實際使用中的效能表現。
然而，傳統預處理方法需要對SSD進行長時間的順序與隨機寫入，才能使大容量SSD（尤其是超過16TB）進入穩態測試條件，這個過程往往耗時數天甚至數週。
SPRandom工具透過引入偽隨機預處理演算法，並與常用的I/O基準測試工具fio結合，可將預處理時間從數週大幅縮短至僅數小時。其核心價值體現在：
顯著提升可擴展性：SPRandom有效解決了預處理時間隨SSD容量增長而急劇增加的問題。以32TB SSD為例，預處理時間從原先超過160小時縮短至約6.2小時；對於64TB以上容量，原先需要數週的流程如今也僅需數小時即可完成。
實現產業突破：作為開源工具，SPRandom具有良好的兼容性，不僅適用於閃迪自有產品，也可適應其他廠商的SSD，有助於推動全產業測試標準的最佳化。

Virtually all sellers on Amazon are obviously Chinese owned now. I search for any product and name brands don’t come up, just generic knockoffs from companies with names like SPRANDOM, KOMERY, JLANDA, WIKICO, VAHOIALD, SEREE TECH, ZNIARAKL (these are all real names btw)
