Loved Splitgate! I played the shit out of it for like 2 weeks. Then I went back to Overwatch I couldn’t tell you why, but I was just done after a certain point. It is unfortunate, because it deserved to be in the space

The game runs and feels so good and the gunplay is so nice but yeah it’s very very bland. I think the aesthetic could be worked on cuz I like it more than splitgate.

Empulse was fun at first but gets very boring after a while. Weapons feel super unbalanced too. I get it's a demo and I'll give the full release a go but this demo is not for me. Feels like its gonna be another splitgate situation

To be honest, this is going to be another game with aggressive SBMM that will prioritize made up player retention statistics. The lag compensation and interpolation/extrapolation will be ramped the fuck up, and I’ll probably stop playing after an hour. Same shit as Splitgate

I believe part of the issue in Splitgate was also the fact that the gap wasn't even a fun one to close. Learning how use portals faster wasn't exactly exciting.
