What is that smell? 👀 If you’ve noticed it this spring, you’re not alone. Farmers are busy getting fields ready for planting, and that sometimes includes spreading manure. It might not be your favourite scent, but it plays an important role. Manure is a natural fertilizer that returns nutrients to the soil, helping crops grow while reducing the need for synthetic inputs. You may also notice farm equipment moving between fields this time of year, so keep an eye out and give them space on the roads.
