Instead of buying your kids a backyard play set they’ll quickly outgrow, buy a Springfree trampoline instead.
They’ll use it their entire childhood.
Yes, I know trampolines have a (deserved) reputation for being unsafe. But there’s ways to mitigate the risk.
Springfree is way safer than a normal trampoline – the net is strong enough to catch a large adult. And there’s no dangerous gaps or springs.
Policies like no flips and limiting the number of kids jumping at once helps too.
It’s great exercise and is fun for toddlers up to teenagers.
Is there still risk? Of course.
But there’s risk in almost everything – monkey bars, sports, riding a bike, etc. – and I don’t think it benefits kids to raise them in a bubble.
IMO kids being inactive is the biggest risk of all.
I see countless backyards w rotting play sets which haven’t been touched in ages.
We’ve had our Springfree trampoline for 4 (injury free) years – my girls and their friends still use it weekly.
(I’m in no way affiliated w Springfree – I just like their product)
