🚨 URGENT: Veterans – Check Your Old Appeals NOW Fairness Hearing: Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. ET Class period: Appeals closed
🔥Dec 12, 1990 – Feb 6, 2025🔥
Brothers and sisters, the Freund v. Collins class-action lawsuit targets tens of thousands of legacy appeals the VA wrongly closed in VACOLS without proper notice or final decision — even when you filed timely documents.
Notices started going out in April 2026. This settlement could reopen your claim and unlock back pay you’ve earned.
Act Today:
1Review any recent VA letter about Freund v. Collins.
2Dig out old appeal records (1990–2025).
3Contact a VSO, accredited rep, or class counsel immediately if affected.
4Submit objections/comments before the hearing if the settlement falls short.
5Share this with every veteran you know — many never see these notices.

🚨 As a Canadian veteran, this is infuriating.
Liberals just used their committee control to suspend the 🪖 Veterans Affairs Committee, dodging scrutiny over cuts to our services and benefits.
I served this country. Many of my brothers and sisters came home broken, some missing body parts.
Now Ottawa turns its back and hides? We call that cowardice in our profession.
This is institutional betrayal.
We fought for Canada. We deserve better than this.

BREAKING: Liberals use their new majority to shut down Veterans Affairs Committee to avoid accountability on the impact of their cuts to verterans services. Regardless of what happens we are here for veterans. @cathayw@BlakeRichardsMP@FraserTolmie
🚨 Let’s set the record straight. Sen. John Hickenlooper is wrong again.
Senator, Colorado veterans deserve accuracy — not another partisan holiday scare message.
No, the VA isn’t “cutting 35,000 providers.” It’s phasing out temporary COVID‑era positions and shifting resources toward direct care, faster claims processing, and community‑based services that veterans have repeatedly said they prefer. Total VA funding has increased every year, and veteran care spending is at its highest level in history.
What actually creates longer wait times are hiring backlogs, administrative bloat, and years of mismanagement — issues you could have worked to fix in Congress instead of politicizing our honorable veterans.
Our veterans deserve facts, not fear. Colorado will always stand with them.
Since joining the U.S. Senate in 2021, you haven’t sponsored a single piece of major, impactful legislation. You, sir, are a Do‑Nothing Senator.

Unfortunately, inclusion of the #AfghanAdjustmentAct was blocked and now we must regroup. Statement to follow from @afghanevac but the work here isn't close to done. We know who blocked this and will press ever harder to get it done and ensure congressional leaders #StandWithVets
Democratic Hill leaders have struck a bipartisan deal on Ukraine aid after decoupling it from the Covid relief plan that has languished for months in Congress politico.com/news/2022/05/09…
ICYMI: this week our team will be focused on pleading with congress to #StandWithVets and include the #AfghanAdjustmentAct in the Ukrainian supplemental.
Passing the #AfghanAdjustmentAct doesn't put a bow on Afghanistan. Instead, it would allow the work of relocation & resettlement of our allies to continue, here at home and abroad.
#Afghans here & abroad cannot wait until 2023 for relief. They need help now. #StandWithVets
The work isn’t close to done but we need to the #AfghanAdjustmentAct to ensure relief for those who’ve arrived and speed up the process for those left behind. We need @Jim_Jordan and @ChuckGrassley to #StandWithVets and include this in the #Ukraine supplemental funding bill.
