To fix education the first thing to do is #StopCommonCore! Get it out of federal law! It is still mandated in the ESSA! And states still have to submit education plans for authorization by the Feds. Spolier alert: School choice won't fix ANY of these major problems.

RD replaced the FAILED Common Core Standards in his first year as Gov. Trump promised to #StopCommonCore, but never mentioned it again, once elected.
To end CC's educational rot, Fed legislation is necessary. We NEED to elect #DESANTIS to restore quality education in America!

Yes. Betsy DeVos sat on the Board of his ed foundation and FUNDED it, while FEE & DeVos both fought against PARENTS who were trying to #StopCommonCore! Trump populated the WH Ed staff with JEB's people! I have ALL the receipts on this. It's been my focus for over 10 years! #RD24

I would add that Trump DID NOT KEEP HIS PROMISE TO STOP COMMON CORE! That is the source of MOST of the learning loss revealed by the pandemic!
DeSantis KEPT his promise to #StopCommonCore in Florida & FL has since been named #1 in education in America!

Trump's idea of shutting Ed down was combining it with the Labor Dept! That didn't fly. Trump did NOTHING for education - even though he promised to #StopCommonCore. We are still suffering with this awful program. @RonDeSantis dumped the "standards" in FL, as did @GovKemp in GA.

If we do "keep the woke agenda out of the classroom," we will solve a lot of the problems that lead parents to want school choice.
School Choice does NOT "fix education." It just moves kids from one bad Common Core school to another. We still need to #StopCommonCore nationwide.
