The impact of low literacy on #bced students is on my mind today (& pretty much everyday, to be honest). Many of our students face multiple barriers that we cannot control or change, often leaving those of us in the education sector feeling hopeless. But one barrier we can address, with the right knowledge, skills & tools, is low literacy. If we can remove that barrier, our students have the chance to thrive & will be better equipped to overcome the other obstacles they may face.
