FORKSTER FEATURED ALT TRACK ๐ŸŽง Big Country โ€” โ€œIn A Big Countryโ€ ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡งStill gives you chills... or takes you straight back to โ€˜83? Posted today in honour of the late Stuart Adamson, whose vision and voice helped shape it all. A towering anthem driven by one of the most distinctive guitar sounds ever put to record โ€” bold, uplifting, and proudly Scottish at its core, with riff-roaring guitars echoing the spirit of the Highlands. Released from The Crossing (1983), this wasnโ€™t just a hitโ€ฆ it was a defining moment โ€” a sound that filled arenas and still echoes just as strong today. And it wasnโ€™t aloneโ€ฆ โ€œFields of Fire (400 Miles)โ€ and โ€œChanceโ€ both broke into the UK Top 10, helping build Big Country into a powerhouse at home โ€” before โ€œIn A Big Countryโ€ carried that sound worldwide. A run that didnโ€™t just define a bandโ€ฆ it defined a moment. Still stands tall. ๐ŸŽง Turn it up โ€” this one still soars. youtu.be/657TZDHZqj4?si=wJWjโ€ฆ #AltMusic #BigCountry #StuartAdamson #FORKSTER @TraceMess_469 @ITHERETWEETER1 @lee0969 @NewWaveAndPunk @ugochill @Wrix2 @Stow6524 @clairywairy88 @Fred_Baliad2 @Motobec810

I finished this book yesterday & found myself crying at the end of it....obviously those who know Stuart's story, know why. This thoroughly researched book was raw, unflinchingly honest & it takes you on a journey, Stuart's journey & all those closest to him. This man was an incredible talent, a true poet, a phenomenal musician. He didn't call his fans 'fans', he didn't believe in all of that. He saw the people in the audience as just the same as him, all relating to the lyrics in his songs. Had they been able to have gone the full distance, Big Country would have been right up there with U2 & Simple Minds. Alcoholism is a hellish disease and it steals the best out of people. It ruins relationships. It takes over like a demon. I highly recommend this book โค๏ธ RIP Stuart #BigCountry #StuartAdamson #ReadersCommunity #BookBoost
