Had this been a non-pandemic year, my children and I would be preparing to leave for our yearly Easter Pilgrimage with @studentcross
I am a very lapsed Catholic... but #StudentPilgrimCross is my home .
Moved online this year again.

The new website is an attempt to refresh the image of the pilgrimage and with a view to the future . It looks great! Well done to the recruitment team 👏👏👏
I go on pilgrimage to Walsingham every year (when there is no pandemic) with @studentcross. Our family group stays in Wells. LGBT are welcome. Rest assured. Local pubs are also on our pilgrimage route!
Don’t forget @studentcross pilgrims arrive on foot on Good Friday each year...not this one, but we’ll be back next year! This year we have a #virtualpilgrimage via Zoom and Facebook instead, but are really missing everyone we usually meet on our journeys studentcross.org.uk/
20.4.1987, #MaundyThursday: @northerncrossuk pilgrims ‘trudged the 2 mile causeway” 2 #Lindisfarne. Actually we skipped: cool sand on tired feet & the euphoria of arrival, meeting 3 other ‘legs’. Ready 2 celebrate the #Triduum & rest aches of 90 miles. @studentcross #Indy was 25p
There’s many a leg to @studentcross! Walking to Walsingham in Holy Week since 1948. @essex_leg@LondonLeg@elyleg@sxdogleg@sxessexleg@sxessexleg, Peg Leg and Wells Leg (and more not on Twitter?) We will miss their arrival but we see they are keeping the pilgrimage going online
STATEMENT ON CORONAVIRUS
After serious consideration, the organising committee of Northern Cross 2020 has decided to cancel the pilgrimage completely this year. @nxcarlisleleg and @nxlanarkleg will not walk. 1/
