Today my 1.5-year-old firstborn surprised me in the most beautiful way ❤️
I filled a basin with soapy water to wash one of our tyre chairs, stepped away for a moment to grab brushes... and came back to find him already on the job! Tiny hands splashing in the pink suds, determined little face focused like a pro, "cleaning" daddy's creation all by himself. 😭♻️
No one asked him. No one taught him yet. He just saw what we do every day at Eco Tyre Craft—turning old, discarded tyres into useful furniture instead of letting them pollute our land—and his pure heart said: "I help too."
At only 18 months, he doesn't know words like "recycling," "sustainability," or "climate change"... but he already lives the mission: if it's dirty, we clean it. If it can be saved and used again, we do.
This is why I started Eco Tyre Craft in Kampala: to collect waste tyres that would otherwise choke our environment, craft them into planters, chairs, and more, create jobs, and show that small actions build a greener future.
Seeing my boy naturally join in? It feels like proof the message is reaching the next generation already. 🌍
Proud dad moment forever. If this tiny warrior touched your heart the way he melted mine...
