#SurrenderHill has everything I look for in a great marathon: Beautiful & unique scenery, lots of curves & packets full of personality ( goodies to take home). Every support table was a fully stocked culinary delight & there was even chocolate milk at the finish.

Needless to say, this is based on personal experience. Not only did I run the #SurrenderHill #Marathon in March 2009 to get my #Comrades qualifying time, but there I met the one-and-only 9-time @ComradesRace champ @BruceFordycerun. It was a good day!

That farm is right at the halfway (turn-around) mark on the #SurrenderHill #Marathon that is run every year in March. It is a very difficult marathon because it is all at altitude, but a nice time to do a @ComradesRace qualifier if you have been training for altitude in #Lesotho!
