classic i18n bug i should've caught earlier on @syncstudy quiz generation was returning "true"/"false" in the source content's language. an Asian users reported and i looked so stupid.

in the space of a week, and for the first time, i got two yearly subscriptions of ~$100 each on @syncstudy . earlier today, i was contemplating putting the project up for sale😅

a subscriber requested to be able to export quizzes/tests generated on @syncstudy to their LMS. although I had this idea in works before now, trying out QTI 2, had to ship multiple formats after seeing the instability with QTI imports on a few of these LMS.

while building @syncstudy I knew the idea wasn’t new in the market but perfection was one thing i paid a lot of attention to. also, cos of the criticality of the market (students). one example is Youtube (transcript) -> Flashcard/Quiz for any kind of youtube video that always almost fails on any competitor app will most certainly work on @syncstudy and that’s one thing to be proud of. sometimes, it’s not about getting to the market fast. its also about providing the value that others don’t.

As a Gen Z, what’s one study hack or app feature that changed everything for you or something you wish existed that actually would? We have already built flashcards, quizzes from PDFs, slides, images, even YouTube videos. But we know there’s still more that could make studying feel effortless, fun, or just less stressful. We're building SyncStudy as study app for the new generation of students, and we want to co-create with the people we’re building for.
