I attended SyntaxFest for €190 last year, four days in-person talks, great lunch included, social event etc.
Time to split ACL up into smaller chunks?

my one biggest regret of the former academic twitter: there's no conference livetweeting anymore. Like right now, there's the #syntaxFest in Lubjana, with 5 conferences (UDW, TLT, Quasi, IWPT, DEPLing) and pp hardly know about it. I even missed the call for participations..

It’s actually my _second_ trip to Slovenia this summer! I had a wonderful time hiking in the Julian Alps in July. This second trip is for SyntaxFest.
