I honestly don’t even know how to explain the joy I felt on yesterday space
The space wasn’t even planned I was literally just testing my mic since I’m still getting used to hosting.
Then out of nowhere, people started joining in real ones pulling up just like that.
That’s when I changed the title to Network & Shill Let’s Talk About What Actually Works on Web3, and it turned into something special.
Everyone was dropping value, connecting, and learning from each other the energy thewas real.
Big love to my co-hosts @dee_captain and @dyoakj first time connecting, but it felt like we knew each other for a while The vibe the connection was something I didn't expect myself it was cool and lots of full energy

ضمن فعاليات مؤتمر #THEwas العالمي الذي استضافته جامعة الملك عبدالله للعلوم والتقنية (KAUST)، شاركت عميدة #عمادة_شؤون_الطلاب د. ياسمين رشيدي في جلسة حوارية بعنوان:
"التمكين، الجودة، والاستدامة الطلابية: مستقبل الأندية الجامعية"
Student Engagement, Quality and Sustainability: The Future of University Clubs
وخلال مشاركتها، تحدثت العميدة عن تجربة #جامعة_أم_القرى في تطوير منظومة الأندية الطلابية من خلال منصة ClubsHub، التي تُعد نموذجًا مبتكرًا لحوكمة الأنشطة الطلابية ورفع كفاءتها، من خلال مؤشرات أداء رقمية تُمكّن من متابعة الجودة والاستدامة وتعزيز الأثر الطلابي.
وأكدت في مداخلتها أن تمكين الطلبة وتفعيل دورهم في إدارة الأندية يمثل ركيزة أساسية في بناء تجربة جامعية متكاملة تسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، وتعزز من جودة الحياة الجامعية ومخرجاتها التنموية.

من كاوست، و لأول مره يجتمع قادة التعليم العالي من مختلف أنحاء العالم في الشرق الأوسط خلال #THEwas، حيث انطلقت قمة تايمز للتعليم العالي العالمية 2025 من جامعة الملك عبدالله للعلوم والتقنية، لتجسّد ريادة المملكة في بناء جسور التعاون الأكاديمي وتوحيد الجهود نحو تعليم يخدم الإنسان والمستقبل

UCT is proud to have been announced as host for the Times Higher Education (THE) World Academic Summit 2026 – the first-ever to be held in Africa.
In a landmark partnership, UCT will co-host the summit with the University of Bristol from 29 September to 1 October 2026.
The summit, under the theme “Knowledge, justice and futures: Universities in the age of intelligence,” will bring together leaders in higher education, research, policy, business and civil society to explore how universities can shape a fairer, more sustainable and future-ready world.
