LLMs can teach basics, but still struggle with reasoning required for novel scenarios. So students will still need to code to get job.
If LLMs get to the point they can do anything, they still need to be prompted, and that ... is coding. Just in English

I was on the @teachingpython Podcast with @kellypared and @smtibor and I pulled out my handy Light Saber to make a point about programming skills. Sean pulled his saber out too - and his ran Python :) It is at about 23 minutes into youtube.com/watch?v=v_nWqC7G…

Hey @KellyPared - Interesting timing of guests on the @teachingpython podcast. @pamelafox and I crossed paths back when she was an early @coursera employee. I knew her father through my prior HPC research as well. We even have "similar" tattoos.
Do you code? Do you want to learn? Have you considered attending Pycon? Check out the latest on @teachingpython
In this episode we explore “the significant role educators play within the Python community.”

Save the date! June 17, 6:15pm @teachingpython Wes Oliver and Morgan Gray will discuss #teaching Python.
I love the #philosophy and #pedagogy that they have established for "non-techy" law university students and it mirrors a lot of what we do in our #Python Courses.
What? Python for Lawyers?
How can lawyers and students of law use Python for technological skills?
Evidence is digitized, you may have a tech client, and many more issues where tech skills and knowledge is needed.
Make sure you are “tech adjacent”! @pycon@teachingpython
“As teachers, we can’t fear coding. To prepare our students for the future, we have to jump in with them.” -Chelsea Clagg
Thanks @teachingpython for hosting imagi's @dorapalfi and Tech Coach Chelsea Clagg for a great discussion. @smtibor@KellyPared, your work inspires us!
