A friend told me a father at her son's school is supposed to be self-isolating but he's been cooking dinner for his family and driving his sons to their two different schools and basically acting like there's nothing to worry about. Too many people aren't taking this seriously

If you can afford to buy a house you can probably afford to build your own. Landlords supply a service to those who can't afford to do either. If nobody rented out their properties we'd have a lot more homeless families.

I've had a gutsful about people claiming "the system is broken" when they're simply too dumb or slack to use the available common resources as effectively as anyone else. None of these so-called "systems" are broken.

What is "the system" and what's "broken" about it? Anyone is legally free to maximise their own advantages, whatever they are able and willing to. If you lack the guts and gumption, it's YOUR fault, not "the system".

That money could have been put into a more productive pursuit like a business, factory or similar to provide jobs but we commodified houses so they're no longer seen as homes but investments which make huge profits year on year with no more jobs

Integrity has a lot to do with this argument because it's about ALL paying tax on their income, & not just some (mostly the workers).

In fact, it is a smear to say that Jews label people antisemitic in order to suppress criticism of Israel. Why is it that every marginalised group is allowed to decide what constitutes bigotry towards them except Jews? And are you saying that no antisemites ever criticise Israel?
